Environment, 6th edition is a comprehensive, applications based environmental science text known for an accessible writing style and for its student-friendly integrated learning system designed to help students move from general concepts to specific applications. The new edition continues the tradition of currency as well as the new, stronger systems approach, which emphasizes the interconnected nature of environmental science, which has been integrated throughout the text to make the text the most student-friendly environmental science book for non-science majors. The result is a text that provides the basic facts, the various perspectives on the issues, and the framework for students to reach their own informed decisions.
