Nuevos Horizontes
The Nuevos Horizontes program is designed to help students move from elementary to advanced Spanish. The text includes a complete and thorough review of what students have learned in beginning Spanish-language classes, as well as carefully chosen new materials that students will find engaging and effective.
As the title suggests, Nuevos Horizontes is created to lead learners to new places, where they can realistically expect to use the grammar structures and vocabulary that has already been learned. Here, in real-life contexts, students will continue to develop the ability to listen, read, write, speak in Spanish, and to interact with and appreciate the vast and diverse Spanish world.

Quia offers an interactive, electroic version of the Nuevos Horizontes Activities Manual (workbook portion). This electronic version allows instructors to assign work to students that can be automatically graded, as well as work that can manually graded by the instructor. Quia also contains a gradebook function that allows the instructor to view statistics in a varity of ways, and provide students with individual feedback. Quia activities can be easily accessed from any computer with an Internet connection.

The DVD is 110 minutes long. There will be 5 video multiple-choice activities and two video activities, an answer key, and a 2-page intro to the video program; this will be housed in the IRM.
