While other precalculus books are basically cut-and-paste versions of various texts, this one is written from the ground up. It provides readers with an accessible introduction to the subject, presenting the information they'll need to know in order to succeed in calculus. To make the material even more focused and streamlined, topics that are extraneous to calculus have been eliminated.
